Then and Now Automotive Staff Profile
Jack Lynch: January 2009 starts my 51st year in the auto parts business.
I started out in 1958 and stayed with the same company until 1986. In January 1986, I heard about a store that was catering to people restoring old cars. This sounded like a great opportunity to use all the skills I have gained over the past 40+ years and put them to use. I came to Then and Now Automotive as a manager and to lend my knowledge of old car parts. My specialties include cars from the 30's, 40's and 50's, because like I always say, "I was there".
Mike Casella: My mechanical background dates back to the early 1960's taking apart small engines just to find out how and why they did what they did. Over the next 10 years I figured out the why and how and started repairing them. I worked at various garages as a mechanic until I realized it was the supplier part of the automotive world I had to be in. During the 1970's I took up drag racing. I ran a Front Engine Dragster along with many other race cars over the next 10 years or so. After my bout with race cars, I decided to try building my own car. During that time I hand built a 1927 Ford T Roadster,  bought a 1938 Plymouth 2 dr. Sedan, and hand-built a 1932 Ford. I got back into my first love of drag racing in 2000 in a rather big way with a 1960 Chevrolet BelAir. You can check it out by clicking on the following link: 1960 Belair. You can rest assure that when you send me an item to be rebuilt, whether it's a fuel pump, or an engine mount, or whatever, I will treat it as if it were going on my own car.

Lisa Pawlik: I started out in the automotive parts business as an inventory control person, just playing around in the books in my free time. Over the next several years I learned more about cars and eventually made the move to Then & Now. Now I had another challenge, I had to become familiar with cars made before I was born. Now I can look up parts for for most of the old cars out there, from a fuel pump for a 1936 Buick to a transmission mount for a 1965 Chrysler. When you call for a part for something, old or new, you can feel confident that I can really help you.
