Camp Quinebarge Fairs
Camp Fairs- a great way to find out your options:
-Fairs are held by groups such as PTO’s in school gyms or other halls.
They give parents and kids a chance to check out competing programs and meet people who run camps and other sorts of summer programs.

-Camps set up their displays & hand-outs and answer questions.
CAMP FAIRS TO ATTEND IN 2012

-Participants walk around a hall of table-sized displays- no hard selling!

-Most run between 10am to 3pm on a Saturday or Sunday.
Some are on weeknight evenings between 5pm and 8pm

-Lots of people come to them, but they’re large spaces in accessible locations
with parking nearby and never really all that crowded.

-Tom and Cori do most of the fairs, with help from camp parents and alums
when two (or more!) fairs occur on the same day.

Often if the fair is close to home, campers or parents or camp friends will drop by to visit
with us and look at the camp pictures on display. Maggie visited us in Manchester NH last spring.
We’re delighted for you to visit us- familiar faces in the crowd add to the fun!

Of course while we don’t want you to switch to another camp, but eventually our campers grow
out of our traditional camp program. Then these Fairs are a great way to find out about other
options for older teens and even college kids. Represented are travel programs, adventure
programs, travel and community service programs, even educational ones!
