The Cape Breton Drag Racing Association is Cape Breton's leading motorsports club. Through the dedication and hard work of it's members and the co-operation of the Sydney Airport Authority, the CBDRA has brought regularly scheduled Drag Racing and ADRA Points racing to Cape Breton Dragway. The track is located at the Sydney Airport and is strategically placed between Sydney, Glace Bay and New Waterford, and is close to North Sydney and Sydney Mines. We are about 400 Km. / 250 Mi. from Halifax, and a ferry ride away from Newfoundland. Cape Breton Dragway offers the only scheduled drag races in Cape Breton and joins Raceway Park (P.E.I.), Mirimachi Dragway (N.B.), Greenfield Dragway (N.S.) and Clarenville Dragway (NFLD) to bring drag racing to the Maritimes. Cape Breton Drag Racing Association meetings are held first Wednesday of every month downstairs in the main terminal building at the Sydney Airport.
